Our seller terms and conditions of sale

Please read through our seller terms and conditions of sale.

• Lumsden Auctions act only as agents and Auctioneers for the sellers.
• The seller guarantees to Lumsden Auctions that they have legal title to the goods or authority from the owner to sell, that they are over 18 and that details given as to their identification are true and accurate.
• The seller gives Lumsden Auctions absolute right to photograph and illustrate any item placed for sale and to utilise the results as Lumsden Auctions deem necessary.
• Goods will be sold without reserve unless otherwise instructed by the seller and agreed by the auctioneers, in any case no reserve for goods under €10.00
• Commission charged to the seller on Items in the Auction will be 15% + IVA of the hammer price.
• No commission will be charged on unsold lots.
• Lots may be withdrawn only on prior permission of Lumsden Auctions and after settlement of any charges.
• Payment to the sellers will be made as soon as all transactions are completed, and at the discretion of the auctioneer. 
• Unsold lots may be re-entered at the sole discretion of Lumsden Auctions.
• Where goods are an asset of the sellers business, the seller will be required to disclose whether they are registered for IVA (vat).
• A Minimum charge of 0.50c may apply to all items entered in the general sales.
• Sellers must arrange for the removal or disposal of goods not sold on day of sale . Any item remaining after that period will be subject to a storage charge of € 5.00 per item/day
• Seller wishing for Lumsden Auctions to dispose of their unsold goods will be subject to a charge of €1.00 per item.
• Vehicle selling, Documentation required for selling a Spanish registered vehicle is , Permiso De Circulacion , Tarjeta Inspeccion Technica, Latest Paid Suma Bill, Copy Passport or residencia card, the vehicle must have an ITV to enable transfer.
• Vehicle Selling British vehicle requirments, A V5 document or transfer slip must accompany the vehicle, & a copy of passport
